Eno Empowers 1,187 In Uyo With N492.7m Grants

Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State distributed N492.7 million in grants to 1,187 beneficiaries in Uyo Federal Constituency. The grants were part of the ARISE Farmers Grant, ARISE Traders Grant, ARISE Equipment Support Scheme, and MSME grants.

The Governor highlighted the development projects undertaken in the constituency, including roads, health centers, and schools, to improve living standards. He emphasized the transparent selection process and the aim to create sustainable income sources for residents.

The Governor also announced additional training for 50 people through the Ibom Leadership Entrepreneurial Development Centre. Beneficiaries from previous rounds of grants shared success stories, showcasing the program's impact on increasing income and improving businesses.

Governor Eno pledged to sustain and expand the empowerment program across all federal constituencies in the state.
