Eno Pledges Support For Ibom Air Passenger, Airline After Recent Controversy

Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State has pledged support for Ms. Comfort Emmanson, a passenger of Ibom Air, following a recent controversy involving the airline's crew.

Emmanson, an indigene of the state, was briefly charged in court but later pardoned. Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, had placed her on a temporary no-fly list, which was eventually lifted.

Governor Eno promised to support Emmanson and Ibom Air, emphasizing the need for understanding and continued backing of the state's flagship airline. He urged citizens not to assign blame and assured that any issues would be resolved.

Emmanson, who described the incident as traumatizing, expressed gratitude for the governor's support. The governor highlighted the importance of unity and support for the airline, emphasizing that every Akwa Ibom person should be proud of it.
