Edo Police Warn Motorists After Driver Injures Policemen

The Edo State Police Command issued a strong warning to motorists following an incident in Benin City where a driver crashed into a police checkpoint, injuring three officers. The suspect, identified as 19-year-old Nsikak Okon, allegedly drove recklessly, leading to the collision.

The police recovered his unregistered black Mercedes Benz SUV valued at N28 million. The Command condemned the attack on the officers and assured residents of their commitment to public safety.

CP Mondai Agbonika emphasized that deliberate attacks on law enforcement officers will not be tolerated.
