Police Inspector Shot Dead at Edo Checkpoint, Investigation Launched

A Police Inspector was fatally shot at an Edo checkpoint by occupants of an unregistered black SUV. CSP Mose Yamu of the Edo Police Command confirmed the incident and stated that a full-scale investigation is underway to apprehend the perpetrators.

The Police Command has urged residents to provide credible information to assist in tracking down the assailants. Security measures have been heightened in the state as the festive season approaches.
