Enugu APC Leader Calls for Unity Ahead of 2027 Elections

On Wednesday, Toni Nwobodo, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Enugu State, called on newly elected leaders to prioritize unity among party members as the party prepares for the 2027 general elections. In a statement issued in Enugu, Nwobodo congratulated the newly elected leaders, particularly Dr.

Ben Nwoy, who emerged as the APC Deputy National Chairman for the South. He described Nwoy's election as a strategic win for the APC in the Southeast region.

Nwobodo tasked Nwoy with the responsibility of unifying the party's various factions to ensure a formidable front ahead of the elections. He urged Nwoy to leverage his new position to foster reconciliation and strengthen the party's grassroots structures across the southern states.

Nwobodo emphasized that the primary objective of the new leadership is to secure a clean sweep for the APC in the 2027 elections, including state house assembly seats and the presidency. He expressed optimism that with the right leadership and cohesive strategies, the APC would remain a dominant political force in the Southeast.
