Enugu APC Elects New Chairman Amid Calls for Unity

On Tuesday, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Enugu State elected new executives, with Dr. Martin Chukwunwik, a former chairman of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), taking over as chairman, replacing the caretaker committee head, Dr.

Ben Nwoy. The election took place at Okpara Square in Enugu.

Governor Peter Mbah, who leads the state's political landscape, urged party members not to lose faith and to stay engaged for future opportunities, particularly as Enugu aims to enter mainstream politics. He highlighted the importance of unity and collaboration within the party, stating that the congress process demonstrated a commitment to peaceful cohabitation and a genuine understanding of the political system.
