Enugu to Face Power Outage for Repairs on May 10

Enugu will face a temporary power outage on May 10, from 8 AM to 6 PM, as MainPower undertakes significant repairs on its electrical distribution facilities. Emeka Ezeh, a spokesman for MainPower, disclosed that the planned outage is necessary to ensure a safe working environment for engineers reconstructing the Emen Industrial Line 1 and 2 towers.

The repairs will result in the disruption of power supply along the 33kV line, affecting areas such as Ituku, Ozalla, Ugwogo, Emen, Thinker Corner, Emenit Airport, Akpuoga, Nkwubor, Ugwuomu, Abakpa Nike, and Nike Lake. MainPower expressed regret for any inconvenience caused and appealed for understanding and cooperation from customers during this period.

The company assured that power supply will be restored immediately upon completion of the repair work.
