Bassey Disappointed by Fulham's Loss to Chelsea

Calvin Bassey, who captained Fulham, expressed his disappointment after the team suffered a 3-2 defeat to Chelsea in their opening match of the season at Craven Cottage on Monday night. Chelsea took an early lead through Joao Pedro just 32 seconds into the match.

Fulham equalized in the 23rd minute with a superb shot from Joshua King. However, Chelsea regained the lead shortly before halftime with a close-range effort from debutant Morgan Rogers.

Cole Palmer extended Chelsea's lead four minutes after the break. Fulham's Gonzalo García reduced the deficit in the 54th minute, but despite their efforts, they could not find an equalizer.
