Glen Johnson Urges Chelsea to Sign Julian Alvarez
Glen Johnson, a former Chelsea defender, has advised Chelsea to hijack the transfer of Julian Alvarez, who is currently a target for Arsenal. Johnson believes that Alvarez, who plays for Atletico Madrid, would be an ideal addition to Chelsea's squad under coach Xabi Alonso.
He emphasized that Chelsea needs a striker capable of scoring 20 goals in a season to compete at the top level of the Premier League. Johnson noted that while Atletico Madrid does not want to sell Alvarez, Barcelona is also interested in acquiring him this summer.
He described Alvarez as the exact type of player Chelsea needs to enhance their attacking options, urging the club to act swiftly to secure his signing.
