Leboeuf Urges Chelsea to Replace Error-Prone Sanchez

Former Chelsea player Frank Leboeuf has called on Chelsea FC to seek a replacement for goalkeeper Robert Sanchez after his inadequate performance in the club's 3-2 victory over Fulham at Craven Cottage. Leboeuf criticized Sanchez's display, stating that it contributed to an unstable defense and diminished confidence among the players.

He highlighted a specific incident involving a second goal where defender Colwill failed to contest a header, attributing this to Sanchez's unreliability. Leboeuf emphasized the need for immediate action from Chelsea's current coach, Xabi Alonso, stating, “There is an issue, and Xabi Alonso must find someone else immediately.” He expressed that Sanchez has consistently failed to support the club when it matters and that the situation cannot continue.

Chelsea will face Luton Town in the second round of the EFL Cup on Thursday, providing Sanchez with an opportunity to rectify his errors.
