Eric Chelle Supports Tochukwu Nnadi After Marseille Move

Former Nigerian national team coach Eric Chelle has expressed his backing for Tochukwu Nnadi after the midfielder's transfer from Belgian club Zulte Waregem to French giants Olympique Marseille. Nnadi, aged 22, was part of the Super Eagles squad in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations held in Morocco before completing his move to Ligue 1.

Despite attracting interest from several English Premier League sides, including West Ham United, Nnadi opted to join Marseille. Chelle, who handed Nnadi his Nigeria debut during the 2025 AFCON, praised the midfielder's physical presence, tactical discipline, composure, decision-making, and ability to thrive in the right environment for accelerated development.

Nnadi made his debut for Olympique Marseille in a high-profile Ligue 1 clash against Paris Saint-Germain at the Parc des Princes.
