Eric Chelle Proposes 19-Point Plan to NFF for Super Eagles

Eric Chelle, the Franco-Malian tactician, has formally submitted a 19-point proposal to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) regarding his contract negotiations for the Super Eagles. The discussions have gained momentum, with Chelle seeking a two-year deal that extends to January 2025, with an option for an additional year favorable to the NFF.

His proposal, presented on January 22, 2026, outlines a monthly salary of $130,000, which reportedly covers his technical staff as well. Key requests include provisions for a private SUV with a chauffeur, security details, accommodation in secure areas, and uninterrupted power supply.

Chelle also seeks business class flight tickets for his wife and two children, access to GP technology, and the ability to monitor Nigerian players in domestic leagues. He emphasizes the need for technical autonomy, no interference in team selection, and the establishment of a youth development program.

The proposal also stipulates that salaries for backroom staff should be paid by the 30th of each month.
