NFF Responds to Eric Chelle's 19-Point Contract Demands

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is addressing the 19-point demands submitted by Eric Chelle, the head coach of the Super Eagles, as contract negotiations are underway. Chelle's requests include a monthly salary of $130,000, a private SUV, a chauffeur, dedicated security for personal safety, uninterrupted 24-hour electricity supply, a fully furnished office with a projector for tactical sessions, and reliable internet access.

These demands have sparked debate within Nigerian football circles, especially considering the economic realities facing the sport. NFF Secretary General Dr.

Mohammed Sanusi has dismissed claims that Chelle lacks essential facilities, although he did not provide details on the requests. Sources within the federation indicated that a review of salary increments is expected to be discussed at the technical committee level before recommendations are made to the NFF board.
