NFF Confirms Eric Chelle Will Honor Super Eagles Contract

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has stated that Eric Chelle will complete his remaining two-year contract as the head coach of the Super Eagles, which runs until 2025. This announcement comes amid speculation regarding his future, particularly following his recent troubles with the French Ligue 1 club FC Nantes.

Sherif Inuwa Ahlan, the chairman of the NFF technical committee, assured that Chelle's contract will be respected and that there is no reason to discuss any changes to his position. Ahlan confirmed that the committee had already scheduled a meeting with Chelle next month to discuss the team's future direction, especially in light of the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament in Morocco.

The Super Eagles are also preparing for an invitation tournament that will mark their debut at the World Cup in Jordan.
