Ugborodo Community Urges NCDMB on Navy Infrastructure

The Ugborodo Community Management Committee (UCMC) has called on the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) to urgently initiate infrastructural projects for the Nigerian Navy's Escravos Ship facility located at Madangho in Warri South-West Local Government Area, Delta State. The UCMC commended Chief Thomas Ereyitomi, the member representing Warri Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, for his contributions to the Nigeria Police Force in the Escravos Division, including a donation of various equipment such as a W19 fibre boat, a generator, and office supplies.

This donation is seen as a significant step towards improving security and operational capacity in the region. The UCMC, led by Chairman Mr Emmanuel Onuwaje and Secretary Eyengho Besidone, also requested additional police personnel and urged the Chief of Naval Staff to activate the Escravos facility, emphasizing the need for a dedicated naval presence to enhance maritime security.
