ESDIAC Launches Affordable Mobile Platform for Calls

ESDIAC, a technology service provider, has launched a mobile platform designed to offer Nigerians lower international call rates and enhanced connectivity for both calls and data. CEO Austin Ugbebor announced the platform during a media engagement in Abuja, stating it integrates Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) calling, electronic SIM (eSIM), and mobile airtime and data top-up services.
The platform aims to alleviate the financial burden of expensive international calls, allowing subscribers to call countries like Canada, the UK, the US, Germany, and Australia for as low as N13. Ugbebor emphasized that the VoIP technology enables calls to regular telephone numbers, even for those without the ESDIAC app.
The service allows users to retain their phone numbers for easier identification. Ugbebor also assured subscribers of no hidden charges and the availability of unused balances.
ESDIAC operates under the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulations. Tope Fasua, Special Adviser to the President on Economic Matters, praised the platform as a significant development for Nigeria's telecommunications sector.
