Blackburn Rovers Set €4.9m Price for Ryan Alebiosu

Blackburn Rovers have placed a €4.9 million price tag on right-back Ryan Alebiosu, who has garnered interest from clubs including Everton and Genoa ahead of the summer transfer window. The 24-year-old had a strong debut season at Ewood Park after joining from Belgian side KV Kortrijk for €576,000, making 39 Championship appearances and contributing five assists.

Blackburn narrowly avoided relegation, finishing five points above the drop zone. Genoa previously tested Blackburn's resolve with a bid of around €5 million in January, which was rejected as the club sought to retain Alebiosu during their relegation battle.

The Italian club is reportedly renewing its interest ahead of the summer window. Blackburn is willing to sanction Alebiosu's departure if an offer in the region of €4.9 million is received, which would represent a significant return on the modest fee paid less than a year ago.

Alebiosu has two years remaining on his contract, with an option to extend for another season if no suitable offers materialize. His performances this season earned him a nomination for Blackburn's Player of the Season award, and he is also part of Nigeria's squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, having made an impressive debut against Uganda in the final group game.
