Genoa Revives Interest in Ryan Alebiosu Transfer

Genoa has renewed its interest in acquiring Ryan Alebiosu, a defender currently with Blackburn Rovers. According to reports from Tuttomercato, the Serie A club had previously submitted a £5 million offer for the Nigerian international, which Blackburn Rovers rejected.

Genoa is expected to make another attempt to sign Alebiosu during the summer transfer window. Blackburn Rovers, competing in the Sky Bet Championship, is reportedly willing to sell the player for a similar offer in January if it is deemed sufficient.

Alebiosu, 24 years old, has made 41 league appearances for Blackburn Rovers during the 2025-26 season, contributing one goal and five assists.
