ADC's Chizi Enyi Critiques Wike's Election Claims

Chizi Enyi, the Publicity Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Rivers State, has labeled Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), as synonymous with violence. This statement came in response to Wike's claims during a media chat in Port Harcourt, where he asserted that the ADC and Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) would lose in Rivers State and Abuja, and that he would secure victory for President Bola Tinubu in these regions.

Enyi, an ally of ADC vice-presidential candidate Rotimi Amaechi, expressed confidence in the ADC's campaign efforts, stating that Wike's comments do not disturb them. He accused Wike of betrayal and inconsistency, referencing Wike's past allegiances to Dr. Peter Odili and Dr. Goodluck Jonathan.

Enyi emphasized that the ADC believes they will win the general election in Rivers State, asserting that Wike's influence will diminish by the 2027 elections.
