Danladi Withdraws from Taraba North Senate Race 2027

Sani Abubakar Danladi, a prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former governorship aspirant, has officially withdrawn from the Taraba North Senate race for the 2027 general elections. In a statement issued on Sunday, Danladi cited emerging political developments in the district that necessitate prioritizing party unity as the reason for his decision.

He expressed gratitude to party members for their support and encouragement during his campaign. Danladi emphasized that his withdrawal was made in good faith for the broader interest of the party and stated his commitment to continuing his role as a coordinator and ambassador for Taraba State.

He pledged to contribute to the growth and success of the APC. Additionally, Danladi declared his support for the re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027 and endorsed Agbu Kefa for the governorship of Taraba State, urging party members to remain united and committed to the party's ideals.
