Timi Frank Critiques INEC's Derecognition of ADC Leadership

Timi Frank, a former spokesman for the All Progressives Congress, has criticized the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for its decision to derecognize the leadership of David Mark in the African Democratic Congress (ADC). Frank highlighted the need to safeguard democratic processes to ensure stability within political parties, especially in light of the upcoming elections.

He called on INEC to maintain the status quo pending the outcome of a court case challenging the legality of Mark's leadership. Frank emphasized that the actions of the APC-led government appear to threaten the foundations of democracy in Nigeria.

He urged stakeholders to remain committed to democratic principles and the rule of law, stressing the importance of credible institutions, including the judiciary, in resolving political disputes. Furthermore, he called for sanctions against individuals who undermine the electoral process and encouraged Nigerians to actively engage in protecting democratic values.
