Buratai Comments on Borno Market Airstrikes After Tragedy

Tukur Buratai, the former Chief of Army Staff, addressed the recent airstrikes at Jilli Market, located along the Borno-Yobe border, which he described as a deeply unfortunate incident. Reports indicate that 50 individuals lost their lives, with others sustaining injuries due to the strike.

Buratai stated that the military action was based on credible intelligence regarding Boko Haram and ISWAP terrorist activities in the area.
