Hajiya Hauwa, Ex-Director, Dies of Heart Attack at 62

Hajiya Hauwa, who served as the director of advocacy at the Primary Health Care Department of the FCT Primary Health Care Board, died from a heart attack on May 31, 2026, at 5:00 AM. She was born in Kogi and celebrated her 62nd birthday on May 3, 2026.

Her son, Moham Dantala Yusuf, confirmed her death in a statement issued on Monday, revealing that she was taken to the National Hospital's emergency ward before her passing. Following Islamic rites, Hajiya Hauwa was buried at 2 PM at Gudu Cemetery.

Her contributions to community health and social mobilization were significant during her tenure.
