Former Bauchi Deputy Governor Audu Sule Katagum Dies at 69

Audu Sule Katagum, the former Deputy Governor of Bauchi State, has died at the age of 69. His death was announced on Saturday by Shamsuddeen Lukman Abubakar, who serves in the Digital Creative Media Aid.

The announcement expressed profound sadness over Katagum's passing, which occurred in the early hours of Saturday. The statement included prayers for the forgiveness of his shortcomings and for his soul to be granted Aljannatul Firdau.

Katagum dedicated his life to serving the community of Bauchi State and the nation. He served as Chief of Staff in the Bauchi State Government House and held the position of Deputy Governor from 2018 to 2019 under former Governor Mohammed Abubakar.

His burial was conducted according to Islamic rites.
