Kebbi's Former Deputy Governor Alhaji Ibrahim Aliyu Dies

Alhaji Ibrahim Aliyu, the former Deputy Governor of Kebbi State, passed away on Friday after a prolonged illness at a hospital in Sokoto. He was a respected elder statesman from Yauri Local Government Area.

His death prompted an outpouring of tributes from political leaders and residents who acknowledged his years of dedicated service to Kebbi State. Governor Nasir Idris expressed his condolences, describing Aliyu's death as a painful loss to the Yauri Emirate, Kebbi State, and the nation.

In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Yahaya Sarki, Idris highlighted Aliyu's commitment to selfless service, integrity, and societal development. The governor noted that Aliyu left behind a legacy of humility and exemplary leadership, emphasizing that his contributions to Kebbi State would inspire future generations.

Idris prayed for Allah to forgive Aliyu's shortcomings and grant him Aljannatul Firdaus, while also offering strength to those he left behind.
