Former Kebbi Deputy Governor Ibrahim Khalil Aliyu Dies

Ibrahim Khalil Aliyu, who served as the Deputy Governor of Kebbi State from 2007 to 2015 under former Governor Sa’idu Dakingari, has died after a prolonged illness. His death occurred on Friday in Sokoto, where he had been residing since leaving office.

In response to his passing, the current Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris, conveyed his condolences to Aliyu's family, describing the loss as a "great loss to the state." Governor Idris acknowledged Aliyu's dedication to the state, both in his capacity as a career civil servant and as deputy governor, emphasizing that his contributions to the development of Kebbi would be remembered. The governor prayed for Allah to forgive the deceased, grant him eternal rest, and provide strength to his family during this difficult time.
