Ekiti Ex-Speaker Urges PDP to Choose Trustworthy Delegates for Governorship Primary

Former Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Kola Oluwawole, urged the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to select trustworthy delegates for the November 8 governorship primary election. This move aims to ensure the right candidate is chosen for the party ahead of the June 2026 governorship poll.

Oluwawole expressed support for PDP governorship aspirant Wole Oluyede, emphasizing the importance of integrity in the delegate selection process. He called for serious mobilization across the 16 local government areas of the state to ensure the emergence of reliable delegates.

Oluwawole's wife, Mrs. Kemi Oluyede, also encouraged support for her husband's bid.
