Ex-EPL Referee David Coote Pleads Guilty to Possessing Indecent Images, Faces Prison

Former English Premier League referee David Coote admitted to possessing indecent images of children in Nottingham Crown Court. The 43-year-old pleaded guilty to the offense after police found such images on his hard drive at his home in Newark.

Coote faces the possibility of imprisonment when sentenced on December 11. The court heard that the images were classified as serious, and Coote will be placed on the sex offender registry.

Additionally, Coote was previously involved in a controversy with former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp. UEFA has also banned Coote for 16 months for violating basic rules of conduct.
