Football Official Jailed in France for Viewing Inappropriate Images

Masanaga Kageyama, a top official of the Japan Football Association, has been sentenced to 18 months in jail in France for viewing inappropriate images during a trip to Chile. Kageyama, the Technical Director of the association, was caught viewing the images during a stopover at Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris.

The court in Paris also imposed a fine on Kageyama and banned him from working with children for ten years, as well as returning to France for a specified period. The incident has led to the termination of Kageyama's appointment by the Japan Football Association.
