Olusegun Mimiko Joins APC, Supports Tinubu's Agenda

Olusegun Mimiko, who served as the governor of Ondo State from 2009 to 2016, has officially joined the All Progressives Congress (APC). His announcement took place at the APC ward 7 secretariat located in Ondo West Local Government Area on a Thursday.

Prior to this, Mimiko was a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), having joined the party in April. During his membership announcement, he expressed support for President Bola Tinubu's developmental agenda for the state and commended the student loan scheme as part of ongoing efforts to decentralize policies.

The Ondo State APC chairman received Mimiko, who attended the event alongside APC leaders and members of the Ondo State cabinet.
