APC Chairman: Adamu's Exit Won't Impact 2027 Elections

Aliyu Bello, the APC Chairman in Nasarawa State, asserted that the departure of former Inspector General of Police Abubakar Adamu from the party will not hinder their prospects in the upcoming 2027 general elections. Bello made these remarks during a rally at Angwan Gayam in Lafia, where he called on party members to accept the results of the recent gubernatorial primaries in good faith.

He emphasized that the APC's relevance is rooted in its grassroots support and the achievements of Governor Abdullahi Sule, who has focused on infrastructure development and youth empowerment. Bello cautioned against divisive political sentiments and urged the populace to vote for APC candidates.

He also addressed the actions of a support group that burned the APC broom symbol, stating that such actions do not reflect the party's ideology. The rally saw thousands of APC supporters in attendance, showcasing their commitment to the party's agenda for the 2027 elections.
