Ex-IGP Adamu to Announce Political Move This Week

Mohammed Adamu, the former Inspector General of Police, is expected to declare his next political move this week, as stated by his campaign director, Isa. Adamu recently left the All Progressives Congress (APC) after losing the governorship primary to Aliyu Wadada.

Isa mentioned that the announcement will confirm Adamu's formal position and will be made to journalists soon. Despite the loss, Adamu's loyalists are reportedly defecting to the Social Democratic Party (SDP).

Isa acknowledged the ongoing defections among Adamu's supporters but emphasized that they cannot wait for someone else to decide the state's destiny. Adamu's wife, Hajiya Rukayya Adamu, is also involved in the campaign efforts, which include a tour of the state to maintain support for the former IGP.
