Former Kano Finance Commissioner Professor Dandago Dies

Professor Kabir Isa Dandago, who served as the commissioner of finance for Kano State from June 2015 to October 2018, has died. His passing was confirmed by Lamara Garba, the director at Bayero University, where Dandago was a professor.

He died at the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital on Wednesday. Garba expressed sadness over Dandago's death and noted that he had recently contributed to an appeal fund aimed at supporting the families of deceased colleagues.

Dandago had participated in a Ramadan lecture the previous weekend at the International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT). He was also recognized as the dean of the Faculty of Social Management Sciences and was an author and editor of a book on taxation and financial economics.
