Rhodes-Vivour Commits to ADC After Leaving Labour Party

Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, a former governorship candidate for Lagos State, publicly addressed rumors regarding his political future, confirming his commitment to the African Democratic Congress (ADC) after leaving the Labour Party. Speaking on Tuesday, he acknowledged the shifting landscape of Nigerian politics and the necessity for unity among opposition parties.

Rhodes-Vivour stated that his decision to join ADC was not made lightly, emphasizing that it stemmed from a deep-seated belief in the party's potential to serve as a genuine alternative for Nigerians. He reflected on his political journey, noting that he had previously transitioned from Kowa Party to PDP and then to Labour Party, always guided by principles rather than personal gain.

He firmly rejected any financial incentives from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to compromise his integrity, asserting his commitment to strengthening grassroots opposition efforts in Lagos ahead of the upcoming elections.
