Faisal Shuaib Withdraws from Nasarawa Governorship Race

Faisal Shuaib, the former Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA), announced his withdrawal from the 2027 Nasarawa governorship race during a press conference in Lafia, the state capital, on Monday. He expressed his full support for Governor Abdullahi Sule's preferred successor, Senator Ahmad Aliyu Wadada.

Shuaib described the decision to withdraw as one of the hardest in his political life but emphasized the need for unity within the party. He consulted with stakeholders across the 13 local government areas of the state before making his decision.

Shuaib acknowledged the sacrifices made and urged supporters to rally behind the party's direction. He reassured that his withdrawal does not signify an end to his commitment to the development of Nasarawa State and called for support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration.
