Supporters Urge Dr. Faisal Shuaibu to Stay in Race

During a mega rally in Lafia, supporters of Dr. Faisal Shuaibu, a former Executive Director of the Nation Primary Health Care Development Agency, urged him to remain in the race for the governorship primaries ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Mr. Elayo, a leader of the support group, expressed confidence in Dr.

Shuaibu's ability to provide leadership for the state, highlighting his track record in public service and his credibility as an alternative in the political contest. Amina Sani, a 76-year-old woman and leader among the youth, noted the need for reliable politicians who can deliver on promises.

Musa Yohanna praised Dr. Shuaibu's political style, which aims to eliminate internal divisions and build a unified political front.

Dr. Shuaibu acknowledged the support and expressed gratitude, stating he would respond to the call to contest.

The rally also paid tribute to the people of Nasarawa Southern Zone and recognized Governor Abdullahi Sule's recent announcement regarding his preferred successor, Senator Ahm Aliyu Wadada, which has elicited mixed reactions among APC stakeholders in the state.
