Shuaib Withdraws from Nasarawa Governorship Race

Shuaib, the former head of the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA), has officially stepped down from the 2027 governorship race in Nasarawa State. He announced his decision during a meeting in Lafia, where he expressed his support for the current governor, Abdullahi Sule.

Shuaib explained that his choice was made after extensive consultations and a commitment to uphold prior agreements within the party. He acknowledged that the decision to withdraw was difficult and not comfortable for everyone involved.

However, he urged party members to unite and support the chosen candidate, emphasizing the importance of loyalty and collaboration in the political landscape. Shuaib reassured that stepping down does not equate to leaving public service, as he remains dedicated to the progress of Nasarawa State and the country.
