Nalaraba Withdraws from Governorship, Backs Wadada

Abubakar Nalaraba, representing the Keana Federal Constituency, has officially withdrawn from the 2027 Nasarawa governorship race to endorse Governor Abdullahi Sule's preferred aspirant, Ahm Aliyu Wadada, for the governorship ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC). Nalaraba had previously expressed interest in the governorship but decided to step back after consultations with party leaders and stakeholders.

He emphasized that his decision was made in the interest of unity and stability within the party and the state. Nalaraba will now pursue the Nasarawa South senatorial district seat, indicating his commitment to serve the people at a higher legislative level.

He expressed confidence in overcoming challenges ahead and pledged to mobilize support for Wadada's candidacy across various political structures in the state.
