Motunrayo Adeley Wins APC Ticket for Ifo/Ewekoro Seat

Motunrayo Adeley has been selected as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Ifo/Ewekoro Federal Constituency seat in the upcoming 2027 general elections. This decision follows a successful primary election held on Saturday, where Adeley garnered a total of 25,167 votes, including 17,286 from Ifo Local Government Area and 7,881 from Ewekoro Local Government Area.

In a statement released on Saturday, Adeley expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support from party delegates and stakeholders, noting the peaceful and orderly conduct of the election, which she described as a reflection of the party's internal democratic values. She acknowledged the leadership of Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun and the consensus among party members regarding the gubernatorial candidacy of Adeola Olamilekan.

Adeley's candidacy received endorsements from key leaders within the constituency, including Joju Fadairo and Sina Adegbenro, among others.
