Alaber Elected ADC Chairman in Ondo State Congress

Alaber has emerged as the chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Ondo following a state congress held on a Saturday. The congress included the election of executive members, which was conducted under a consensus arrangement.

Key figures in the election process included Dare Akinwal as the organizing secretary, Oloy Ola as the legal advisor, and Kunle Adeloy as the secretary. Bobbi Omotoso and Ayodel Ogunsuyi were elected as deputy chairmen, while Kehind Agboola supervised the electoral process, ensuring adherence to the party's constitution and the electoral act.

The congress followed earlier ward and local government congresses, which were completed to strengthen the party's structure ahead of future elections. Agboola accused the ruling Progress Congress of attempting to weaken opposition parties but asserted that the ADC remains a viable political platform.

Alaber pledged to work with party members to expand support across the state. Bode Ayorind, a party leader, expressed confidence in the ADC's rapid growth and its potential to contend strongly in upcoming elections.
