Former Yobe Commissioner Musa Dumburi Passes Away at 70

Musa Dumburi, a prominent figure in Yobe State's agricultural sector, died at the age of 70. His death was confirmed on a Saturday by Senator Musa Mustapha, who expressed deep sadness over the loss.

Mustapha described Dumburi as a brilliant agriculturist and a highly resourceful technocrat, emphasizing his lifelong dedication to the development of Yobe State, particularly in agriculture. Born on April 26, 1956, in Dumburi Town, Yobe State, Dumburi demonstrated leadership skills from a young age, attending Masaba Primary School from 1963 to 1970 and later the renowned Barewa College in Zaria from 1971 to 1975.

His political career began in 2003 when he was appointed as a special assistant for rural development by former Governor Bukar Abba Ibrahim. Senator Mustapha extended condolences to Dumburi's family, friends, and political associates, praying for Allah's mercy upon his soul.
