Nigerian CSOs Alarmed by Legislators' Interference in Exam Bodies

Civil society organizations in Abuja raised alarm over alleged interference by Nigerian legislators in examination bodies like WAEC, NECO, JAMB, and NABTEB. The CSOs condemned the undue pressure and financial demands made by lawmakers, warning that such actions compromise the credibility of the education system.

They called for an investigation into the allegations and emphasized the need for transparent and independent oversight to uphold the integrity of national examinations.
