NAFDAC Alerts Nigerians Over Circulation of Fake Condoms, Urges Caution in Purchases

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has issued a public alert regarding the presence of counterfeit Kiss condoms in various Nigerian markets. The fake condoms were identified in major commercial centers like Onitsha, Anambra, Idumota in Lagos, and others.

NAFDAC emphasized the health risks associated with using fake condoms, as they may not meet safety and quality standards. The agency advised consumers to be cautious when buying condoms and ensure they are sourced from reputable outlets.

NAFDAC urged the public to report any suspected counterfeit products to the nearest NAFDAC office for regulatory action.
