Expert Laments High Rate of Female Genital Mutilation in Nigeria

An expert, Anyeb, has raised alarm over the significant rate of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) in Nigeria, citing it as a major public health and human rights issue. Nigeria is believed to have one of the highest numbers of FGM cases globally, with a prevalence rate of 41% among girls and adult women.
