Youth Attempts Suicide Demanding Meeting with Rarara in Kano

A young man identified as Dikko Usman attempted suicide by climbing a tall metal structure near Lado Bridge in Kano, demanding to meet political singer Dauda Kahutu Rarara. The incident, which led to his rescue, highlighted mental health challenges among youths.

The Kano State Police Command intervened, revealing that the man wanted to meet Rarara, who trekked from Lagos to Kano, before deciding to end his life. The attempt coincided with the United Nations World Suicide Prevention Day, emphasizing the global issue of suicide.
