Emeka Ezekwe Launches Women's Enterprise Accelerator in Port Harcourt

Emeka Ezekwe, the Group CEO of Oil and Gas Facilities Maintenance Services Company and Chairman of the Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHCCIMA), launched a results-driven women’s enterprise accelerator program in Port Harcourt. The initiative aims to equip women with practical business capabilities and move beyond conventional empowerment approaches.

The program, coordinated by PHCCIMA and the Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WCCIMA), includes a structured business development workshop for the first cohort. Ezekwe emphasized that the program incorporates a business tracking mechanism and a mentorship framework to evaluate performance, with clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) targeting at least 70% business survival and a 40% income growth among beneficiaries.

Dr. Chinyer Nwoga, President of PHCCIMA, reiterated the chamber's commitment to advancing women-owned enterprises as a critical driver of economic growth and community development.
