Ezza North Endorses Nwifuru for 2027 Governorship Election

Chief Ogodo Ali, the chairman of Ezza North Local Government Area, alongside the Ezza Youth Assembly, has officially endorsed Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru as the sole governorship candidate for the 2027 elections. This decision was made during a meeting that included youth leaders from 41 communities across Ezza North, Ezza South, Onicha, Ishielu, and Ohaukwu local government areas.

The group cited Nwifuru's performance and commitment to peace and inclusive governance as reasons for their support. They dismissed claims that a faction of the youth had endorsed Chief Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii of the People's Democratic Party, asserting that such endorsements did not represent the views of the Ezza people.

The communiqué was signed by Dr. Jeff Ogbu and Comrade Nkwuda David Fridai, emphasizing the community's alignment with Nwifuru's administration and their desire for continued peace and development in Ebonyi State.
