FAAC Shares ₦2.225trn August 2025 Revenue Among FG, States, LGs

The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) distributed a total of ₦2.225 trillion among the Federal Government, states, and local government councils from the August 2025 revenue. The disbursement included statutory revenue, Value Added Tax (VAT), Electronic Money Transfer Levy (EMTL), and exchange differences.

The Federal Government received ₦1.05 trillion, states got ₦0.53 trillion, and local governments received ₦0.41 trillion. The FAAC meeting highlighted the impact of ongoing economic reforms and emphasized the need for prudent management of public resources to meet citizen needs.

The allocation aims to support government operations and service delivery at various levels across Nigeria.
