FAAN Apologizes for Lagos Airport Power Outage, Explains Cause

The Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has issued an apology to passengers and stakeholders following a power outage at Terminal 1 of Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) in Lagos over the weekend. FAAN attributed the outage to a fault during a power changeover process, prompting the immediate deployment of its technical team to address the situation.

Interim backup measures were activated to ensure a swift restoration of services. FAAN acknowledged the inconvenience caused by the interruption and assured that efforts were being made to swiftly restore normal operations at the affected terminal.
