Waiting for AGF, IG to Prosecute Ayinde

The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has imposed an indefinite ban on popular Fuji musician Wasiu Ayinde, also known as Kwam 1, following his unruly behavior at the Abuja airport last Tuesday. Ayinde was seen in a viral video blocking an aircraft and allegedly holding a flask containing alcohol.

The NCAA has called for a comprehensive criminal investigation and prosecution by the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and the Police Inspector General (IG) in accordance with aviation regulations. Many have questioned why Ayinde was not immediately arrested for his actions, with some attributing it to his perceived influence and power.

The Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, has publicly condemned Ayinde's actions, calling them unacceptable and reprehensible. The incident has sparked a debate about the rule of law and accountability in Nigeria, with calls for strong enforcement against powerful individuals who flout regulations.
